Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children. Beautiful civic gardens and plantings. Otherwise boring. Very few 3* plus restaurants, remaining were tourist "reas spoons" all with the same offers. Moules, steak, fish, standard French offerings. One outstanding cafe on the edge of the market square, called Concept 18. Weekly market was excellent. Boat trips and water related activities over priced by Spanish comparison. The hotel is in a fabulous location with restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful marina right on the doorstep. The staff were so welcoming and professional. We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the marina and it had some amazing views both in the morning and the evening.
