Yes it’s in the middle of nowhere, but we knew that when we booked (you can see location on the map) and it was exactly what we wanted. Room was comfortable and warm, shower/sauna/toilets were all good, staff were great. breakfast was a good sized portion and tasted good. You have to get the bus/drive a while if you want to be in city or do tours etc. but there is Forrest right outside and a lake within 1km of the property and we spent our time exploring without another person in sight. We went out at night and saw the northern lights 2 out of 2 nights we were there, it’s very easy to find great spots without other people or light pollution in just a couple of minutes walk. Mini fridge and microwave available to use as well. overall great place to stay.

We really liked the entire place, it is very charming. The sauna is honestly the best we have seen during our trip, you cannot miss it. Also, there is a hole of water called « the path of the heros » where you can jump after the sauna if you dare 😁. Also the host is very kind, and the snowshoes are high quality. The last thing to mention is the value for money, which is outstanding !

From the moment we arrived we felt special. Grey Cabin is small buy perfect for 2. Dinner we had was excellent & Husky Ride was awesome and meeting the dogs also.
