Small town in the Sierra Nevada. Narrow Streets - and several restaurants (restaurant Fragua is highly recommended!) Well situated for dat hiking - potentially strenous, say 800 vertical meters in 6-7 km. (some 15% climb) -areas with snow in June. Try the Ham Museum as well!Guest review byJohnDenmark - 6.0

Nice village but we preferred Capeleira, Pampaniera and Bubion where were not so far away from Granada and the coast. On the plus side, there were very few tourists in Trevelez whereas the other villages of Las Alpujarras had more tourists.Guest review byDavidSpain - 8.0

Not the prettiest village in La Alpujarra but it definitely has its charm! Especially the higher up the village you go. It's definitely worth a visit and a good walk around the whole village. It has a few good places to eat at very reasonable prices.Guest review byAnonymousSpain

The apartment was nice and warm when we arrived. Very comfortable apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It would be nice to add a mirror in the bedroom. The restaurant is also very nice, we had a delicious meal prepared by Julia´s mother. The entire family was very nice, all working in a real team. Not as plush as many places we stayed in but it was a lot more fun and attractive. The temperature was lovely. Shower was cold but we didn't mind that.
