A 12 km trip ranged from €28–35 (with traffic) to as high as €60. In a few cases the meter showed ~€28 but I was asked for €45. People are super nice, we felt very welcomed. Taxis are everywhere and the drivers are very helpful. Easy to navigate the city. There are many shops and restaurants around. We definitely recommend to watch a football match in a stadium. It’s where you feel the country’s vibe. Barcelona is a very cosmopolitan and busy city. The shops are amazing - move over Fifth Avenue! If you take the bus tours - which are a great way to see the city - make sure you give yourself at least two hours for each circuit! Try to sit on the top to see better. Get a map, walk the city. Barcelona is a great city with a lot to see. Depending on the length of your stay pick wisely. Sagrada Familia was exciting but you do have to book tickets in advance. Since I am Filipino so there is a part of me that its close to home. Food was to die for. Sagrada Familia and the other creations of Gaudi were such a beautiful piece of art.
