We loved all the history and the walks that started in Alquezar. Then in the evening after you have freshen up there are various restaurants that you can go to. The only warning I would give to anyone is that it is very hilly and loads of steep steps you have to climb to get around. The apartments are really nice, very clean and secure. Alquezar is a truly beautiful medieval village with so much to offer. Angel was very friendly and welcoming and was on hand if we needed help. The apartments are close to some really nice restaurants who sold excellent food at a decent price. Parking is literally a few steps from the gates of the property. The heating worked really well so it was nice and cosy for us. There is only a small supermarket in the village but Barbastro has a number of good supermarkets. We found Mercadona very easily and got all the supplies we needed there. I would recommend this property to other travellers.Guest review byRoySpain - 8.0
I didn't know what we were getting into when I booked a...
I didn't know what we were getting into when I booked a hotel there, it was just a good location on the map. The town itself is small but quaint, all medieval. It's in a very interesting place in the mountains (not not super high up) with an impressive landscape. There are walking, hiking trails, a camping near by and probably lots of climbing to be done. However, I was with a person with limited mobility so we didn't do any of that. The roads are cobblestone and hilly and a bit challenging for that, but if you are in good health than it's probably a nice 2 or 3 day trip.Guest review byJudith SolSpain - 10.0

Parking is available for free within walking distance of the hotel and they have an elevator! Beautiful room with a comfortable bed. Stunning view of the alquezar from our room. Breakfast was typical Spanish in a pleasant dining room. The parking is to the rear of the hotel up a steep cobbled street with a sharp right turn while still on a steep slope, first gear all the way and do not stop! She also gave us lots of suggestions on arrival. The hotel is very modern and uncluttered. Our room had a lovely balcony with amazing views of the castle and surrounding scenery.
