Very unique experience, Abdo is amazing and we had the whole boat to ourselves. The view overlooking the Botanical Garden Island and the West Bank is mesmerising. Also, there was no noise from boats (as described in previous reviews).

I am a regular customer of this hotel I have been at this hotel also a couple of times in the past and I always choose this hotel in Aswan because if it's great location. Certainly! Excellent food - everything is made fresh from the ingerndients grown at the garden which you can actually go and pick your fresh prodduce from. I definitely had the best breakfast in Egypt over here, and I've been around Egypt. Everything down to the bread was made from the fresh produce. The location is gorgeous, a little island just before the beginning of the city before it gets busy with other buildings and structures - this makes you feel like you're actually somewhere remote and serene. The host, what an excellent mind and vibe, really makes you feel welcome and like home. The design of the rooms, the shared spaces, everything was well thought out and made with purpose.

An amazing hotel next to the river. The room was clean and tidy. We had the number 1 room for 3 people . It was a big room with 3 windows with an amazing view (the front rooms have also a small balcony to sit outside) The breakfast was nice and the owner also suggested if one day had to leave early to prepare our breakfast for take away.

If you are looking for the quietest and most wonderful place on the Nile in Aswan, do not hesitate to choose this hotel. It is much more wonderful than the pictures, with fantastic views of the Nile and the Temple of Philae on Hesa ​​Island. I had an incredible experience staying at Miskaa Nubian House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and felt immediately at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated with authentic Nubian touches, and it was clear that great care had been put into making the space both cozy and functional. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The location is perfect—peaceful yet conveniently located close to the beautiful Nile. I especially enjoyed the traditional Nubian meals offered at the hotel. Each dish was delicious and gave me a taste of the rich culture of the area. What stood out the most was the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It felt like a peaceful oasis, blending culture, comfort, and hospitality perfectly. I left feeling relaxed and enriched by the experience. I highly recommend Miskaa Nubian House to anyone visiting the area. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or exploring the local culture, it’s a wonderful place to stay. I can't wait to return!

    The stay at Abdu’s houseboat was nothing but mind blowing.

    The stay at Abdu’s houseboat was nothing but mind blowing. I stayed in the houseboat for 5 days with my mother. We both feel like we gained a friend in Abdu and hope to see him again one time. He is so kind and caring! Not only did he help us arrange everything in terms of tours (to Filae, Abu Simbel, a Nubian village, the botanical garden and more) and activities (Falluca sailing, Zaraha sand meditation, bird watching trip, exploring the Souk, swimming in the Nile, transfer to Luxor via Edfu and Kom Ombo and more), he also helped us with his second smaller boat to get everywhere, get local products for local prices, assimilate to the local culture by clothing and customs, cooked for us (he also made sure all food was well washed), helped us donate goods and clothes to the local school, and assisted us in getting tickets for the night train from Luxor to Caïro, ATM withdrawals and simcards). We truly think he has a heart of gold and works with honesty not soley for money. His houseboat has everything you need for an authentic stay. Our cabin was spacious enough for the two of us and had an amazing view over the Elephantine Island. The terraces was facing the beautiful botanical garden on Kitchener Island. Due to the placement of the boat you have some shade in the morning and you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. If you look for a real experience and want to dive in the culture and day to day livestyle on the Nile, the boat is definitely something for you. We are truly greatful we’ve met Abdu and can definitely recommend a stay with him on his lovely houseboat. We hope to see him again one day!
