Extremely chill and beautiful. Located just outside of Østermarie this little house is the perfect place to relax. The owner even gave us bread when we ran out of food. He was generous and an all round nice guy.

The cleanliness of the hostel was brilliant. The hostel team answered my questions about bike storage before my stay and I was met with a nice surprise in the form of sweets on my bed!

A Wonderful Stay on Bornholm! Our stay at Strandhotel Balka Søbad was absolutely fantastic. The location is a dream – right next to a beautiful sandy beach in a quiet, peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and taking long walks. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable – every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food was a real highlight – breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and offered a great selection of local products. You could really feel the warm, homely atmosphere with every meal. The biggest highlight, however, was the owners – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They create such a warm and personal vibe that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully located hotel with heart!

    This is one of those bookings where a beautiful location and accom very close to all you want to see and do in Svaneke is badly let down by property management. So I score this 5 out of 10 as there was insufficient linen supplied e.g. 3 single sheets for 2 queen size beds for 3 people. When I called off site property manager, they tried to tell me I should have booked linen but we were not told before arrival about needing to book linen. So my first night was spent using a t-shirt for a pillow case and no duvet cover.

    We would like to thank so much for that amazing apartment! We were super happy with our visit at your place in svaneke and are grateful that we found everything what we needed and even more. It felt like home and totally hygge! Also a compliment on how you decorated the apartment and the garden is a dream,- especially at night we could watch the starry sky what we enjoyed so much. We will definitely gonna come back again, if we allowed to. Best wishes to you, Milena & Liz

    Nice and bright design (note - bring your own toilet paper, garbage bags etc, it's not included). Spacious room (note - if you are 4 people, 2 must sleep on the convertible in the living room). Good mattresses. Quiet. Free use of bikes (note - bring your own helmet). Washer and dryer available. Nice surroundings (note - the apartment is in Aarsdale, not Svaneke).
