Ulm has many interesting parts, from the market on Saturday, the fishery village and a really great michelin star restaurant bi:braud in the Büchsengasse 20 and of course the Münster. Ulm Aldstadt, even in the cold and rain (mid April), was pretty and compact. The Münster is very grand - not being religious and having had my fair share of church visits for most of my life, this place is pretty spectacular inside. Thanks to the RAF, the old town had to make a few adjustments and they've done relatively well to ensure that a large part of the Aldstadt looks like a scene from the Medieval times. A bit too concrete(y) next to the Münster and as well, horrible 60s, 70s and 80s planners and architects desecrating nice architecture.....Guest review byTobySwitzerland - 10.0

Ulm Minster church was astonishing.
Ulm Minster church was astonishing. The city was really beautiful and fun to just wander around. The bakeries were nice and fun to have a morning coffee and Brezel. Really good train system and you can easily go to see other places like Stuttgart and Bodensee for a day trip.Guest review byAnonymous

Huge family room at top of hotel, super clean, 2 toilets! Great shower, hotel a very short 5 min walk to town square and cathedral. Hotel Reception staff were very helpful at finding an urgent taxi when we realised we needed to catch a train 20 mins late. Ulm is a busy town, full of shops. Even though the rooms are small, they are designed so smart that it feels perfectly comfortable and they think on all the small details. One of my favorite things in Motel One is the high class bar they have in their hotels… and this rooftop bar in Ulm was SO amazing! Very friendly staff on reception, explained everything and provided a map with ideas for eating out. Rooms were as expected, no frills but everything you need. Bed was comfy (but not as comfy as the night before in Namur!) The shower was fine. Being located right in the city centre we could explore easily. The Minster is HUGE!
