    A good base for exploring the local "volcano" area. Trier and the Mosel valley are within reach. The town itself had plenty of eating options as well as a large wine shop and an Aldi & Lidl.

    Small friendly and warm family hotel, original decoration, the guests are art lovers and this can be felt in the establishment and the rooms. The room is spacious and quiet. A chair to work on the desk would be nice. Simple but adequate breakfast. Wi-Fi a little slow. pleasant stay.

    The apartment is absolutely spotless and the bed is super comfy. It is around half an hour from the Nürburgring and Mendig has everything you could need.
