Both apartments were spacious and clean. The location is quiet and pleasant in a wooded, hilly area with a nice walk along a stream down into the village. Klotten is a typical wine village although less touristy than some. It is very close to Cochem and also has a train station on the beautiful railway line between Trier and Koblenz. One might think the location is a drawback compared to Cochem or Bernkastel-Kues, but Klotten is a quaint town to stay in. The train (once per hour) quickly and affordably takes you to other places of interest along the Mosel.
