Janske Lazne is a ski resort which is not very suitable for...
Janske Lazne is a ski resort which is not very suitable for beginners, in the sense that there are relatively few blue slopes. They do have beginner area's, but they are not in the main area, 5 minutes by bus away from the Gondola. The Gondola only takes 7 minutes and you have a nice 10-15 minute downhill (skiing average). Friendly people and good restaurants on the slopes. The number of restaurants in the village itself is limited. While it is ok as touristic starting point, where you spend most of the time outside, may be not enough if you are looking for a place to stay indoors. This is perfect location for anyone who wants to go hiking, cross-country skiing or other activities that can benefit from proximity to the mountains - it is actually in the mountains, 2km from the rest of the town. Timing of the breakfast was also good. No one rushed us to finnish. You could take coffee ans sweets/cake ot your room, which was fantastic. Room was nice and cozy. Bathroom was large enough, shower was of normal size, you can easilly get in and out. Both room and bathroom was clean. Staff is super friendly. They will assist you if needed. Gated parking just outside (we paid 8 euros per day), lovely restaurant, amazing breakfast which was included in our package, pool with jacuzzi (small and busy though, you have to pay a small fee to use it), tennis court.
