Everything was perfect, I was spoiled from the beginning to the end. The island is a paradise, the staff super kind, the beer free and fresh! The island is plenty of rare and kind animals and amazing flora. I would definitely recommend it to disconnect and to spend fews days without stress.

The view was incredible the boat journey was a bit choppy i think we got a bad day. But when you get there it is worth it. The fish is delicious. But the only thing was the alcohol was expensive gin and tonic £12.50. The beaches were heaven and the scuba diving definitely worth going. We went 3 times. Hotel is excellent for the price breakfast great. Thank you for our stay we will be back.

What else can be said about this magical place. The new and spotless hotel is located in a remote location easily accessible by boat from the main pier in Barù. Our suite had three balconies, each facing the ocean from a different direction, sunrise from one, open ocean and shade from the other and sunset from the third one. The staff, including Oscar and Antonio, were great as well as the front desk manager, Jairo, who went the extra mile to made sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this place for its charm and relaxing surrounding.

Beautiful and peaceful place with a great host. So many places in the island are extremely noisy but here you can relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Also Darvin is a local and can tell you all about the interesting story of the islands and the culture. Great price for what you get.

The best thing about Ubuntu (apart from it’s eco-friendly nature, it’s small private beach and all the peace you can find during your stay) was absolutely Carolina! She made us feel home starting from our arrival and made our time on the island great through many information she gave about the island and it’s history. We also did a snorkeling tour with her, in which she took us to the coral areas and guided us through the tour. We also did a plankton tour in the night, which was very special and is highly recommended!
