The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and most speak English. The facility is located right on the river. The food, both western and traditional are both very good. There are plenty of daily activities available at the front desk that can be organized.

We were initially surprised that it was not too close to the city, but we actually loved the location and felt immersed in nature with this spectacular view of the mountains. Being in the city would not have been the same. I am still dreaming about the view and the nearby village! The staff was so helpful and welcoming! Our host was fluent in English which made our trip arrangement easier. The food was really nice for the price! We will definitely be back!

I'm so glad I chose this hotel in Yangshuo. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the scenery. The hotel is nestled among the mountains, and the views are just spectacular. We had a wonderful stay! The view from the hotel was breathtaking. We rented a scooter at a very affordable price, and the staff helped us book tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show, which was absolutely amazing. They even drove us to the bamboo rafting area and to the city center whenever we needed. Everyone was extremely kind, always checking in to make sure everything was okay and giving us great advice. Breakfast was tasty too. Highly recommended!

My friend and I traveled from Hong Kong to this homestay. It takes around an hour to reach from the Yangshuo railway station. Pretty easy to get there by Didi, and the ride going there was smooth. It is quite a developed village town with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops along the way. Since we preferred to stay near the countryside with good views, the unique resort fit our tastes further away from the main streets. As many families seem to book this place, we thought it would be safer since we are two ladies traveling. The homestay owner was also the kindest, since we are foreigners, we could barely speak the language, she was patient to guide us through the items and attractions that we could go to and help us with anything we needed. And since I was not able to eat pork, she also did her best to cater to our dietary needs. I’d recommend downloading translating apps if the language barrier becomes tricky. It helped a lot during our stay but also the service was one of the best to make the experience worthwhile. The rooms were simple and clean, wifi is a bit shaky sometimes but aircon and hot water were provided. There is also complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner dessert. They even had cinema projections and zoo animals to attract kids and families during the stay. The animals are well taken care of by the family that stays there, also very nice people. The interior designs and decorations were also aesthetic and provided a calming ambience. In terms of attractions, you could rent bicycles or motorcycles to go around the area, plenty of green scenery to take photos with the fields and lotus ponds and mountains. We also did the bamboo rafting which takes around 90 mins to travel down the river with a few fun points of riding down the small dams, so be sure to bring extra shoes/waterproof shoes or clothes in case you get wet.

Just checked out from Orange Hotel in Yangshuo, and I’m blown away by how great our stay was! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even gave us helpful tips on exploring the area. The room was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed (comfy beds, strong AC, and great WiFi). If you’re visiting Yangshuo, this hotel is a no-brainer. Great service, clean rooms, and an unbeatable location. 10/10 recommend!

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin. It is set in beautiful surroundings, with karst hills, forests and rivers, is full of history and interest and is packed with lively bars and restaurants but has easy access to quieter, rural lanes and villages. Visitors love to dress up in local dress and photograph themselves so there's quite a party atmosphere. I loved it and wished I'd stayed longer than two nights.

    There is a lot to do in Yangshuo.

    There is a lot to do in Yangshuo. Very nice places to see and we can also enjoy some of them using a bike or scooter. Take a cruise on the Li river and enjoy a bamboo boat rafting (quite soft). At nigh don't miss the light show, an amazing event on water with more than 200 artists

    We stayed at Chaoyang village, it is close to Yulong River, which is the quieter side of Yangshuo (compartively). The karst landscape is beautiful and the manual bamboo rafting (not motorised like those at Li River) experience is highly recommended!

    A trip up and down the river (raft or boat) and walking...

    A trip up and down the river (raft or boat) and walking around West street are the highlights, we enjoyed the local park and the . The scenery is very beautiful, but marred by the traffic. We ate in the restaurant at the River-View hotel, very popular with locals and tourists alike. Don't imagine you can get to other towns easily by public transport, the bus station is well outside of town, hence the large numbers of e-scooters in use. The "Yangshuo" train station is actually 34km/21 miles away from Yangshuo, at Xinping, you need to book train tickets a few days in advance, they often sell out. Be aware of the Great Fire-wall of China; all google apps and many more don't work. Most people (and our hotel) used WeChat (instead of WhatsApp), AliPay, and DiDi for taxis- download the apps before you get to China and bring a local sim with you.

    we moved from Guilin to Yangshuo and the latter is definitely more beautiful - breath-taking. The "Impressions of Liu San Jie" by impressario Zhang Yi Mou is worth every dollar spent on the tickets. Be sure to visit "Ru Yi Feng" and take the river cruise. When you do the latter, you will come across the site where the "Impressions of Liu San Jie" are being staged. The karst-like hills form the background of this show. There are several hundred performers from Ethnic minorities of the region.

    Soft beds in China! Finally!! The room and the views were fantastic, and while initially we found the staff at check-in to be uninterested and not helpful at all, her colleagues the days after made up for it, they've all been wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. Shower worked great. But the biggest plus was the divine soft mattress, so we could finally sleep decently. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but close enough to all the hustle and bustle of West Street. Bikes can be rented for only 10 yuan per day.

    A perfect stay in every way! The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Yangshuo, and the view from my room was breathtaking. The room itself was well-designed, clean, and cozy. The staff were amazing—so friendly and accommodating, and they spoke excellent English. They helped me book a bamboo raft tour and even arranged transportation to the airport. The breakfast was delicious, with both Chinese and Western options. I had such a relaxing and enjoyable time here. Highly recommended.

    The staff was absolutely amazing, they went beyond their duties to make us feel extremely welcome and assisted us with any questions. The facilities were all great and the bikes and escooters all worked very well and got us to many beautiful places around Yangshuo. The food at the hotel is very tasty, great variety as well. The staff assisted us with our transfers to / from Guilin and it all went really smooth. Thank you, this was the best part of our China trip by far!

    What a fantastic find! This hotel is super close to Yangshuo West Street, so we could walk to all the best restaurants and bars in minutes. The room was spacious, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were absolute stars, giving us spot-on recommendations for local attractions and helping us navigate the area. Great value for such a prime location—highly recommend
