An amazing host Lise - a very helpful, knowlegable and friendly person with who I had a very intersting conversation. I would honestly recomend this BnB to anyone. Such a lovely athmosphere built by Lise. I can’t wait to find some time and go back :) A wonderful breakfast served by Lise with a super cheap price. Amazing, tasty, fresh and healthy. The owner Pascal is very helpful. The location of the house is very good for Santis. We stayed for 1 night, but for those who want to stay for a long time, everything has been considered in the house. I can't wait to come again.

Such a wonderful, homely, comfortable stay. I cannot express how pleasant it was. I would highly recommend this accomodation. It is decorated and furnished in such a cute style. Pleasant jazz music playing in the background. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We loved it so much! The room and view were amazing, bed comfortable and the staff were so lovely and gave us good tips for what to do! Easy to park, beautiful walks around the hotel and it had such a beautiful outdoor area for breakfast and dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10 from us!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel und Restaurant Chäseren in Schönengrund. The guesthouse is extremely charming and welcoming, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with a direct view of the Swiss Alps and the impressive Säntis mountain — it looks like a postcard! The rooms are very cozy and warm, with windows that frame the landscape like a painting. The food is a true highlight: homemade, prepared with great care, and absolutely delicious. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a meal made especially for us — a gesture that shows the warmth and hospitality of the place. We are very happy with our choice and will always carry this experience in our hearts. Highly recommended!

    Visiting Santis was the best part of visiting Urnäsch.

    Visiting Santis was the best part of visiting Urnäsch. It is a must see. Have awesome views from the summit and also learnt quite a lot about weather and weather measurement. I really enjoyed traditional swiss dishes for my lunch at Santis Terrace Hotel and dinner at Restaurant Lowen in Urnäsch. Urnäsch can be comfortably reached by train from Zurich. There is public transport bus 791 from Urnäsch Bahnhof to Santis Cable Car Station. There are lots of hiking trails in the region. I recommend you to go on the Rondom Appenzoll hike. It is a short easy round trip hike around Appenzell which can be done in around 2.5 hours. In spring there are flowers everywhere and every part of the hike looks like a post card.
