Hotel Nufenen was ideally located for this, at the foot of the Furka, Grimsel, and Nufenen Pass climbs, with terrific scenery and a water fountain just outside. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, I was able to dine here in the evenings and there was plenty on offer for breakfast. The room had a very cosy alpine feel to it, so I was very happy!
