Silvaplana is very small and quiet village: supermarket, bakery, ski shop and a couple of restaurants. Cross country ski trails are 10 min walk across the bridge and there are regular buses to take you around to nearby villages. Hotel is very clean, staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. They also went above and beyond to help us get to the train station (mum is in a wheelchair and dad struggles with his mobility) on our departure and organized a taxi for us at their expense because the shuttle wasn't available.....they excelled themselves, we loved our stay in the hotel and would definitely go back!
