We took the train from Geneva airport, it's a lovely journey...
We took the train from Geneva airport, it's a lovely journey around Lake Geneva. Its very easy and relaxing with a change on to a local train to take you up the valley. We stayed there for 4 nights and skied each day. It's not a typical ski resort. It has all you might need, supermarket, pharmacy, boulangerie etc and a few bars and restaurants (no real late night stuff). We had some great food and bars were full of locals and a few skiers. Getting up to Verbier is simple with a lift that runs 05.15-23.45 and takes about 10 minutes. It is only 850m high so has a bottom of the valley vibe, I also imagine it would also be great for the summer.Guest review byMark_W_20United Kingdom - 6.0
The Le Chable lift gives direct access to the higher...
The Le Chable lift gives direct access to the higher stations in Verbier without having to queue again in Verbier. There is immediate access to the Bruson area which provides a good range of skiing for an afternoon away from Verbier. The Verbier Four Valleys resort is severely limited by access across the system It can take two hours to cross the system to enter a range of drag lifts. The Yellow routes are a major issue. They are reasonably moderate black runs, but as they are off-piste my insurance does not cover them. For this reason alone I will not return to Verbier.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom

It was beside a supermarket, and a pharmacy and it was less than 10 minutes to the Gondola station for Verbier. The lady in reception was excellent, agreed to wash a big pile of smelly hiker clothes for a reasonable price, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant down stairs was excellent.
