Loved everything about this hotel! The room was very big, little balcony, kitchen. The bathroom was great, big bath and separate shower. Everything was very clean. Parking bit confusing when arriving. You need to check-in first and then the gate to the parking garage will open. Plenty of room to park. Location is great, waking distance to city center. Loved it here, would gladly book this again!

Real, real classy hotel and you can easily see that at the front entrance where you're immediately greeted by valet in long stylish black coat. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Entire hotel exudes warmth in low-key luxury decor and definitely worth revisits over and over again if you're looking for a good holiday retreat. Rated No. 1 hotel in Canada in 2021 Visit the Pub if you can and try getting a table by the window with views to the hotel spa / open sea. Food is actually quite good, much exceeded our anticipation.

So much to see and do.

So much to see and do. Victoria offers a plethora of options and a beautiful backdrop for all. As a group of women we spent time rummaging through an antique and thrift store, visited a trendy market and experienced a “Scottish high tea”. Something for everyone! Always the downside to any large city is the traffic but with some patience and a good navigator traversing the city is very doable…and there are many tour buses that offer the best option.

The harbour area was great, the architecture was beautiful to look at and the parks are gorgeous. We did a whale watching tour and saw many different whales and other wildlife- it was superb. Also it’s a very walkable city, we didn’t use our vehicle as we like to experience and see more on foot.

    I love Victoria .

I love Victoria . It's a beautiful , sophisticated city with a small town feel in that it is relaxing and fun to just wander around the downtown area . I particularly like the Inner Harbour. Also recommend Butchart Gardens and the Japanese Garden along the Waterway, where you'll see beautiful views as well as weddings parties being photographed.

I love Victoria. The old houses, the luxury apartments.

I love Victoria. The old houses, the luxury apartments. The character of the downtown! I just love it. Traffic can get pretty bad and parking can be a challenge so I wouldn't visit in July or August if I could help it. But that ocean is always there, calling. Go.

What a charming and quaint city! The flowers around the city are just magnificent. I took the Hop On and Off Tour and the narration and tour around the city was informative and so interesting. The city is very inviting and beautiful. It is extremely well kept and clean. I loved visiting the different places in the city and the Butchart Gardens was magnificent. We ate at the Empress for lunch and it was delicious as well as the service was excellent. I hope to come again to Victoria, it was delightful!

The hotel room was immaculate, the kitchenette was very well set up for in-house cooking and fully equipped. The room was spacious, and beds very comfortable. A stroll out the door to the main area by lobby to sit and relax with access to coffee, the newspaper and fresh apple or oranges. Everything was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! The location was very walkable to the downtown and all other amenities. Definitely a place I would book again for our next visit.
