Friendly welcoming staff. The room had everything a traveller could want, even scales to weigh yourself. We enquired about an evening meal and were directed to a very nice quiet pub with excellent bistro food 10 minutes stroll away.

Lovely accommodation, really clean and comfortable. lovely quality bedding,also fridge was stocked with cold dinks that you could purchase along with snacks, great idea if you arrive late. Accommodation was on a main road but our apartment 2 was far enough back so road noise was not a problem. easy access to the main town. in the apartment there was info on the surrounding area as well as recommendations for food, this was most appreciated

    Tamworth has changed and is more child friendly and definitely great places to eat for those that are gluten free. Clean tidy and friendly locals Marsupial park Hopscotch Cafe Dragon Palace and the big kids playground on Kable Street. The view from the lookout is spectacular need more time

    There’s plenty of vistas to visit & if you are arty you have plenty on offer to sit & sketch or paint. Some good pubs & eateries in town & a bit further a field. The brewery/restaurant at Dungowan is very good - I ‘d advise to book ahead. Great food & beer & beautiful vista. The Town markets were on & they were very good. The country music museum is very good. Depending on what time of year you are there - there’s plenty of music - mainly country. Tamworth is on a train line so depending how long you are staying you could do a day train trip & take in the country views. There’s a great lookout & there are walking trails. Or relax by the river with a picnic.

    It's our closest regional city, from our farm a couple of hours distant. The city has its own country feel, events, music yes but also any kind of music you want to enjoy, friendly retailers and staff, helpful accommodation and hospitality staff. I've known its centre all my life; so has my immediate family. Best of all is "it's NOT Newcastle," a sprawling bigger city. Tamworth is easier and faster to navigate. It's growing and adding more types of events year by year, so it is a great place to shop, enjoy entertainment and hospitality, obtain essentials and extras for cars and farm, see fine art, just a familiar, progressive place to visit with its heritage values.

    It was very comfortable and quite bed and pillows were very good friendly services plenty of milk and coffee in our room we were given bottles of water on arrival which was great as we forgot to get any nice place to stay for the price

    We enjoyed walking along the River, and noted the excellent playing fields and public spaces. We enjoyed visiting the Regional Gallery. Beware though, the Oxley Highway is closed during the week, and when we travelled Thunderbolts Way was also closed south of Walcha. We travelled many extra kilometres to reach Port Macquarie via Waterfall Way.

    Tamworth is a very clean bustling city with surprisingly great restaurants. Easy to get around, great facilities and shopping. Lots to do - it seems to be popular with events (Vintage car rally, regional markets, and sporting events on) this made making a booking essential - all motels booked out on the weekend of our visit. A really great regional town, with friendly people, great restaurants (Centillion Chinese, Longyard Pub, and Powerhouse sampled during our stay). All had exceptional food. Covering pub, family and high end dining. BTW Powerhouse specialises in high quality beef and lamb, so make sure your wallet is bulging. Travelling from Sydney up the New England through the Hunter Valley is beautiful.

    No breakfast. Its location is to the town centre by 5 minutes of a car. But the day stay price was only $105. The staff is greatly helpful and friendly. It is a very good accommodation in Tamworth or NSW or in Australia. The room is very clean and has all the equipment you need.
