    Motel is close to Quart Pot Creek which has beautiful walking tracks in the parklands on either side. Stanthorpe is close to many wineries and the Girrawheen National Park which is a must to visit. It is a beautiful town and has that very nice country town feel.

    A beautiful place to visit, enjoyed the wineries and Jamworks. Truffle place was great. Cheese factory was disappointing, used to be one of my favourite places in Stanthorpe but has had a lot of changes. Apple pie at Sutton’s was fantastic. The Christmas farm was a delight.

    There is so much to see and do in the Granite Belt area.

    There is so much to see and do in the Granite Belt area. Creekview Cottage was the perfect base. Dinner at Varias, part of the Qld College of Wine Tourism) was outstanding. We only had time to do one walk at Girraween National Park. We did the Junction walk for the first time. It is an easier walk alongside the creek that was flowing beautifully after rain the day before. Washpool was definitely worth a visit. Our cottage used their products so we went to check them out. Please support this lovely local business. Our favourite winery (of the 6 we visited) was Pyramid wines. We had breakfast at Brinx Cafe in the main street. Decided it was a good idea to have a big breakfast before a day of wine tasting. Mount Marlay lookout was worth the little drive too.

    A lovey tidy town which the locals are obviously proud of...

    A lovey tidy town which the locals are obviously proud of and take care of. We left in low temperatures and the council workers were already ut and about and tidying things and at work in the gardens. Was a lovely spot. Will come back and spend longer another time.

    There's so much to see, places to visit, and things to do in...

    There's so much to see, places to visit, and things to do in and around Stanthorpe. Also, take a drive out to Ballandean, a magical area just outside Stanthorpe. Visit Heavenly Chocolate, Anna's Candles, and Blue Pot Pantry, and don't forget to drive past The Pyramid. The Ballandean Pub is a charming little hotel and a great spot for a meal. Take the time to explore the region. p

    The information centre was excellent, I recommend this to be your first stop to gain local knowledge & information on what to do & see We visited the thermometer in town, I wish there was detailed information on the weather reading equipment that is housed in the park, overall a great experience

    Lovely area only 8 minutes from Stanthorpe on a beautiful river with a weir. Our dogs love the fenced off dog play area & also the grounds are lovely to walk around. The cabin was lovely, warm, clean & the queen bed was so comfortable! Anybody in a caravan will love camping down on the river front. Also great fire pit near cabins for roasting marshmallows & just looking at the night sky.

    Staff were really welcoming when we arrived at the place. Really cosy, and warm when we were inside the accommodation. Location is pretty close to the town centre and close access to shops and restaurants. Would 100% stay here again if passing by Stanthorpe.
