Sooooo much to like! Gorgeous views, spacious apartment with fabulous views, plush towels, thoughtfulness - night light, a choice of pillows, a mini dishwasher, laundry, and only 3 doors to the best seafood restaurant! And ... unlike many places, the key safe was easy to use. We loved everything about the town, the community and the accommodation.

The best accommodation we had in Tasmania in 4 weeks. So big and clean, furnished with taste and style. The view onto the Nut was just amazing at any time of the day or at night. The beach is just a short walk away. Andrea and Daniel are ☆☆☆☆☆ hosts. They had put a bottle of wine and some Tim Tams on the table to welcome us. They asked if everything was ok for us and answered one of our questions in a very short time. Thx a lot for having us as your guests.

I liked everything about this place. So close to the nut and in my room felt like I was transported back in time. Beds very comfortable, and amenities were as expected clean and fresh. Felt like royalty staying here!

This was our best accommodation for our entire trip. The green house had three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and large lounge area. As we were travelling as a couple with a friend we were able to spread out. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to sit out on the deck and have a wine on our arrival. Very close to the penguin watching too.

    Stanley was a surprise.

    Stanley was a surprise. It had a range of things to do like Highfield and the Nut. It is a shame that so many of the businesses close for winter but you dont know that until you go there. Managed to find enough open to enjoy the trip

    A small village with a village centre, shops and coffee shop...

    A small village with a village centre, shops and coffee shop (most important) and Stanley Hotel restaurant. Walk along the sea front (which I didn't) but I did enjoy staying at the Stanley Village Waterfront Accommodation. I could have stayed in bed much longer but I had to vacate by 10.00. The few pics are of the cafe (browndog) taken from the car, some luggage of a solo traveller, the shore path and a few inside the apartment.

    Lovely little town and lots to see around there.

    Lovely little town and lots to see around there. There the cable car and walk around the top of the nut. Good walking tracks in Rocky Cape which is not too far from there, good food at Lanigans in Rocky Cape and places in Stanley. Also great tours of Woolnorth not too far from Stanley plus plus plus.

    Beautiful location with spectacular views.

    Beautiful location with spectacular views. We stayed in winter and saw the Little Penguins, had dinner at the local pub. So easy to walk and drive around Stanley. The coffee at The Browndog cafe is perfection.

    Stanley seems to be a well-kept secret from us mainlanders.

    Stanley seems to be a well-kept secret from us mainlanders. What a sweet town! We stayed one night and it wasn’t enough. At least two would have been better and given us more time to explore this gorgeous little town. What a treasure. I’ll be telling everyone to add Stanley to their Tasmanian itineraries.

    Such a gorgeous town, so interesting and an amazing location. Highly recommend staying there. Not much choice in places to eat for dinner, many bring closed for the winter, but the bistro in the hotel had very nice food. Delightful area to walk around and explore.

    The Seaview Inn is located just outside of the town centre; however, the view of The Nut, as shown in its promotion, is definitely worth the slight inconvenience of getting lost in the darkness at night. The lounge and bar area also present a great view. The staff member at reception was very friendly and helpful, particularly with options for dinner and breakfast. The room was clean and well-presented and the bed was comfortable. While the room does not have air-conditioning, the heating provided was very sufficient.

    The cabin was so beautiful! It was very comfortable and the design was great! The only extra things that we would have liked would be ice in the freezer and a little outdoor coffee table in front of the deck chairs. We loved the location, private, quiet, away from town, gorgeous view of the inlet and wildlife everywhere. The bottle of wine and cheese, paste and crackers were a lovely treat - very much appreciated! Our two night stay was the perfect way to finish off our two week holiday in Northern Tasmania.

    The location was superb, overlooking the waterfront but still close to the restaurants and shops. The house was beautiful with everything we needed. Maybe supply some little soap dishes so the soap doesn’t have to sit on the bench. Stanley is a lovely little village.
