This town is a little gem , just far enough away from the main centres to feel secluded and distinct . We only had a night there so didn't get to try any of the local cafes . We enjoyed the authenticity of the place and the historical buildings . We didn't visit any wineries but there did seem to be quite a few within a 20 minute drive , so it's probably quite central in that respect .Guest review byAdamAustralia - 10.0

Martindale Hall is well worth a visit.
Martindale Hall is well worth a visit. The local pub (Magpie & stump) has great food and atmosphere. Inspiration point is not very far and has a great view to the east of the hills. The Reisling trail (bike trail) from Auburn to Clare is a short drive away and well worth it.
