Lancefield is a little rural town in the Macedon Ranges.
Lancefield is a little rural town in the Macedon Ranges. It is steeped in history. Lots of other interesting small towns nearby. Lovely friendly people. We stayed at Lancefield Lodge for 5 nights, and loved it so much, we went back for another 2 nights. We'll definitely go there again.Guest review bySusanNew Zealand - 8.0

The scenery was spectacular everywhere you looked had a beautiful view. We were greeted with a nice glass of bubbles. We had lunch which was delicious and buffet Breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of choice. The location, the scenery was beautiful. Township itself is a typical country town wide Main Street old buildings. Didn’t notice any MacDonald’s etc . There is a lovely country town near by called Romsey with a nice cafe, Kynton isn’t that far away either which is great to visit, plenty to see and do.Guest review byDeniseAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful and clean little town with a nice selection of quaint shops. We had a lovely pub meal and bought goods from the bakery and a cafe which were also delicious. The purpose of our stay was to visit Edgar's Mission early the next morning. Next time we intend to stay longer.Guest review byEllenAustralia - 10.0
