Wonderful place to stop over on my travels through Europe by motorcycle. The room was huge and super comfortable, the facilities were excellent and staff all lovely. I had dinner in the restaurant too and it was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional - the best spread I've ever had whilst on my European road trips. There are also communal areas with books and games, which is a bonus.

The house is located very close to Ossiach Lake and in a strategic position for visiting all of Carinthia, since it is close to Villach and within an hour's drive of most destinations. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything necessary for long stays (two hair dryers, washing machine, dryer, pots and pans, cooking utensils,...). The owner, Petra, was very kind and always willing to help. I am especially grateful to her for immediately recommending that we purchase the Kärnten Card, which provides free access to many attractions in the area. The garden is well maintained and contains various playground equipment for children, a tennis table, and a barbecue (unfortunately, with all the things we had to do, we didn't have time to use the latter, but we still enjoyed the garden and deck chairs to relax after our walks and visits during the day).

Our stay at Burg VIEW Apartment was excellent, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful host. Every detail in the apartment is carefully selected, so that the stay is not only comfortable but also pleasing to the eyes. The most beautiful is the view from the terrace / through the panoramic windows of the dreamy valley. We rested our eyes and spirit. Highly recommend it.

A very clean, comfortable, and spacious apartment with - I believe - really everything you might need included. Quick and easy key handover process. Lightning-fast response from the hosts to our inquiries. Gorgeous view from the balcony. One of the best apartments I've ever stayed in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a truly wonderful experience staying in this apartment. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. The host was warm, welcoming, and always available for any questions, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Lovely room with great views, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast. Good location for travel to Slovenia. Walk down to the lake was nice as was the cafe at the beach area. Dinner at local Gastehaus Trink, very pleasant. Hotel Pension Melcher is spotlessly clean and tidy. Thoroughly recommend.

    The hotel is next to the main road in Treffen but traffic noise was no problem. My room was very spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight compare to the room size. There was an alarm going off during my check-in time but this was for the fireworker because a big thunderstorm arrived in the evening. I had some local food & beer for dinner and both was very tasty. Staff was very friendls and breakfast was also nice even if I had to leave early.

    The host was very welcoming, transparent and we appreciated all the good recommendations provided. Location is fantastic, close to Gerlitzen, close to the Lake and many attractions. We enjoyed the Adler Arena, Familywald, hiking to the Finsterbach waterfalls and the Gerlitzen Peak. The restaurant across from the location is also fantastic(zum Treffner).

    Nice location surrounded by mountains, a lot of facilities throughout the whole hotel, it was amazing. Breakfast was good as well, good choices and I had the most amazingly crispy bacon ever I believe!!!
