Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but...
Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but offers good spots for swimming, including beaches. Also nice, but rather short promenade along the shore. Do not expect many live pubs or bars, but the number of restaurants is sufficient. The lake is wonderful.
The lake is wonderful. One can stroll or take a boat trip or just enjoy a cup of coffee and a apple cake in one of the many coffee shops on the lake shore . You can visit the villages along the lake or take bike trips.Guest review byMariusIsrael

Not far from a lovely little town Strobl which is located at the lake Wolfgangsee. There you can easily find what to do and where to go. Not large, but a variety of restaurants there with the local food. You can either walk there or take a bus. Walking will take about 25-30 minutes. Hosts are very nice and kind.
