The views and the quietness of the hotel are unmatched. We had a peaceful stay. The room has all the basic facilities that you would need. Extra blankets were provided. The hotel also arranged a horse riding lesson for us. The cooking and the cleaning staff were very nice. The two young receptionist ladies were also very polite and did everything to make our stay comfortable. From the hotel, you can do various hikes, and we were able to do the Dsegh Trail marked well by HIKEArmenia.

We really enjoyed our stay at COAF. Currently there is building work going, but I think it’s great to see the expansion of the project. It wasn’t loud construction. The spaces are beautiful (not super super slick) modernist interiors - a lot of glass and concrete (exactly like the photos). Spacious comfortable rooms. Very open plan - if you’re comfortable with your partner then you won’t mind the open plan stretching somewhat into the toilet. Breakfast was great. The dinner was hit and miss - I enjoyed mine but my partner wasn’t fussed about hers. The surrounding area is stunning - I ran in the hills, we walked to the town, etc. I wish there was the availability so we could’ve used it more of a base and were able to explore more of the local and regional sites. Actually Debet has some nice restaurants too. Highly recommend. Great hotel and worth supporting such a great project. I’m an artist and lecturer - I’d love to live/work/teach there!

Fantastic hotel, very classy yet traditional furniture. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Location is good to explore the Lori region. Food at the restaurant was also excellent.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful hotel. The location was inside the mountains and the river. Our room had a breathtaking view and everything was so clean and beautiful organized. The restaurant had delicious dishes with a traditional taste of Armenia just like our breakfast.

The place was amazing on the cliff overlooking the Debed canyon. The hosts very very helpful and picked us up with their car as the road up hill is not really for the low cars. The breakfast and the dinner were delicious. Strongly recommend the experience 😊

The hotel was clean and had beautiful mountain views, making our stay very enjoyable. What impressed us the most was Gayane — she was so kind and attentive, and it felt like she was doing the work of several people all by herself. It would be great if she had some helpers to support her because she puts a lot of effort into making sure everyone is taken care of. Big thanks to Gayane for her amazing hospitality!
