The tent is more spacious than expected, with a well equipped kitchen and two sizeable rooms. The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!

The FarSide Dam Cottage está ubicado en Nottingham Road, a 24 km de Fort Nottingham Museum, a 32 km de Midmar Dam y a 32 km de Karkloof Nature Reserve, además tiene hospedaje con patio y WiFi gratis. I loved all the little extras, coffee tea,milk,sugar,firewood and fire lighters. So hospitable. Also great showers, good water pressure and hot water. Good location close to restaurants.
