We really enjoyed staying at Wild River Side. Off the main road and set in a beautiful garden with spice trees. We had dinner there and had some of the best Sri Lankan vegetable curries so far on our trip. Owner organised transport from Ella and to Tangalle at a reasonable price as well as the jeep for the safari. The cottage was clean and had warm shower and AC.

Lizard Safari Lodge ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลที่เดินทางไปอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park ได้ใน 14 กม. Best Safari guide ever, Nandu (guide and owner of the property) was very nice and calm. Drove us to a lunch place and took us back so we don't have to walk in the heat. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Owner showed us many different animals that we never seen before, very interesting experience. The dinner family made was delicious also.

Owner him self managing the service perhaps, such a nice person with calm behavior. They booked our safari for us and truly made it a memorable stay.

The place is absolutely beautiful — right in the middle of the jungle — and what makes it even more special is the kindness of the owners. Madhu gave us a wonderful cooking class; she’s an exceptional chef! The rice and curry were delicious, the Sri Lankan lunch was incredible, and even the safari picnic was perfect. This place is a true delight for the eyes, the heart, and the taste buds.

An amazing guest house with three rooms, and a large common area, located at the foot of dramatic and lush hill. We managed some very nice birding just sitting in the garden. A truly relaxing setting in nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were delicious.

Kasun the owner is one of the nicest guys ever - so kind, helpful and goes above and beyond to assist in every need. Watermelon on arrival, fresh coconut on departure, organised safari, prepared yummy breakfast included in the price, relaxed check out timing....the list goes on! The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The place had everything we needed, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Also very affordable. Michael can propose you some affordable safari tours if you ask him. Thank you for your hospitality
