There was also a shared kitchen in the garden that we can use. In the morning we were surprised by the size and quality of the breakfast. Owners really do their job with care and love. I would definitely book it again. The location was not right by the Unawatuna Beach but it is easy to access by public or walking. Also, a nice hike to the Jungle Beach.

Some units in the chalet complex have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. We stayed for 2 nights and it was just wonderful. The pool is fantastic, the staff is just amazing, the rooms are big and the bathroom is great. The wifi was strong the breakfast was epic. Overall this is a gem we will for sure be back. The detail in the rooms and huge garden is really good. Everything about this place has been thought through and the place is well run. The staff are so super helpful with nothing too much for them. If you are looking to stay in this area then it would be a mistake not to go to this fantastic place.

The Bungalow is directly at the beach (10 meters, so it is really part of the beach). You can hear the ocean while falling asleep. The breakfast was great and the staff is always nice, esp. Barbara who is owning the place. Drinking water is for free at the bar. They have 2 Beachvolleyball courts and offer Yoga for a fair price. We could have stayed there forever :)

Manthally Cabanas also includes a year-round outdoor plunge pool. We had a wonderful two nights stay in the cabanas. The guys that work here are wonderful - friendly, helpful and always keeping the territory clean and cosy. The room was clean and the wood makes everything look beautiful. Our room was without A/C but with a ceiling fan. Next time we would choose a room with A/C. Breakfast was very generous, local and super delicious. We did not managed to eat everything that was prepared for us. Guys cook amazingly! The distance to the city did not caused any problem. Tuk-tuk to the city costs ~1€ or so and the staff dropped us there couple of times for free. It was nice to leave all the noise there and get back to our jungle for night's sleep. We also got a chance to check-in earlier, thanks for that!

Location is great, very central, only a 3 minute walk to the main beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. AC was great and lovely bathroom with a great shower. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast provided is amazing. The location is very good, in a quiet area, close to Galle Fort. You can even borrow some bicycles. Malik also provides very good tours around Galle Fort - definitely a recommendation!
