The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful given our poor Japanese. The room was large with a nice view over the river. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel has male and female onsen and a large heated pool. We opted for breakfast which was Japanese style and excellent. Would make a great base to stay for a few days to explore the region, lots to see.
