The cabin is an absolute haven for families. We were so comfortable. Everything was close enough to get to but far away enough that the cabin was really peaceful and relaxing.

The hot tub is life-saving after a long day, even giving additional energy to visit something else in the middle of the night (we travelled in May with practically no darkness at all). It was so relaxing and cozy at the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful touch after a long day and it was great to take in the views. We felt very comfortable and at home here. I would recommend this place over and over again. I loved reading the log book and seeing all the wonderful/special stays that other people had here as well.

The view outside in the morning or evening, just wonderful. The way the bed is tucked away, very smart. Well stacked kitchen, we cooked two nights. Lovely stay overall, happy to have stopped here.

The kitchen is fully equipped, the views are stunning, and the coffee is excellent. Its location within the Golden Circle made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Communication with Valdis and Ari was smooth and friendly. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this cozy retreat to anyone visiting Iceland.
