Boasting garden views, Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Balmoral Castle. A hot tub is available for guests. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment features family rooms. All went well, from check in to check out. Bed very comfortable, the flat is in a quiet backyard and yet it's in the center very close to pub, café, bus stop etc. Highly recommended.

We received an email with instructions for using the lock box with the key inside, and phone number for the host if there were any questions or we needed anything. Instead, someone was at the property to meet us and provide a short orientation. Water for the shower and taps is heated using the wood burning stove, so it was necessary to light the fire, and it had been a while since we had practiced this special skill. The host personally showed us her method and provided us a personal bbq with which we were unfamiliar. They don't have these in the US. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet we were only a few minutes from a village with a grocery, restaurant and nice parks.

Facilities were great, the cabin we stayed in was awesome and just the right size. Area is beautifully designed and done very well, you can see how much love goes into the place. Ann and Dougie were very welcoming & kind, giving us a tour of the place and lots of information for our stay. Games room was perfect, lots of different games to play and a great place for kids and adults.
