First of all, the community where the place is located is super safe—just like a typical village with chickens freely wondering around. I stopped locking my door the day after I arrived, once I realized how calm and peaceful it was. As a solo female traveler I value safety very much. Satori is located closer/deeper to the jungle so it is even calmer, and you can start your hike right at the gate. Sometimes monkeys would come to the site and I could watch them while having my breakfast/lunch. Secondly, I was amazed by the owner, a true animal lover and sustainability enthusiast. They handled everything themselves—gardening, improving the land, and preparing delicious breakfasts. Communication was easy. From the moment I made the booking, they provided a ton of useful information—like the boat schedule and more. I asked, and they arranged boat tickets and guided tours for me. Keep in mind, I don’t speak any Spanish! By the end of my stay, it felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Amazing people. The cabin was clean, equipped with a comfortable bed and mosquito net, fan, shelves and electrical outlets. When I wasn't hiking or touring, I enjoyed relaxing in my hammock outside the cabin. They also have decent Wi-Fi. There was a road construction down the road (village part), so I needed to detour (around 5 min walk). It should be gone in a month or so.

Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Is a one in a lifetime experience to fall asleep inside to the jungle and still feel safe. Thanks to Martin, Gabi, Fran and the entire team!

Con vista al jardín, Cabañas eco lógicas mu'ü estáestablecido en Loreto Mocagua y tiene un restaurante y una cocina compartida. John y su familia son unas personas muy cordiales. Nos recibieron en el aeropuerto el dia de nuestra llegada y desde ese momento hicieron de nuestra estancia en el Amazonas una verdadera experiencia. Las actividades son de gran valor y la comida que prepara Maria Josefina es una delicia. Si en realidad buscan desconexion del mundo virtual y el caos de las ciudades este es el lugar ideal.

Ubicado en Leticia, Amazona Lodge tiene hospedaje de 3 estrellas con acceso a un jardín y una terraza. Tanto WiFi como estacionamiento privado están disponibles sin cargos en el lodge. Pilar built herself a little paradise. The „garden“ is beautiful. You sleep with all the animal sounds at night, it’s even more amazing when it rains but it gets really really loud at night, if you need a quiet place to sleep this is not it. I listen to animal and rainy sounds on spotify to fall asleep so it was easy for me. There will also be insects in the house (which I didn’t mind). The shower is spacious. Pilar is a very friendly and attentive host and will organize the tours for you. Just tell her what you want to do. Wifi works good.

Reserva Natural Tanimboca está situado en Leticia. El lodge se especializa en cocina local en su restaurante. Excellent, great friendly people. Fun and kind. Very informative and lovely place

Ofreciendo un restaurante, Reserva Natural Natura Park tiene hospedaje en Puerto Nariño. Algunas unidades incluyen una sala y/o balcón. En el lodge se puede encontrar una terraza, así como un jardín. Buenas instalaciones, el personal muy atento, si quieren desconexión es el lugar ideal.

El Hotel Amazon está situado en el centro de Leticia, a pocos minutos del río Amazonas, en la frontera entre Colombia, Perú y Brasil. Nuestro grupo llego retrasado por 2 dias al hotel por motivo de problemas con la aerolínea, La señora Judith fue muy receptiva y nos permitió cambiar la reserva para llegar 2 días mas tarde, lo cual agradecimos muchísimo ya que hubiésemos perdido dos días de otro modo. La localización del hotel es muy buena ya que Leticia es un sitio estratégico para salir a distintos sitios en el area y esta en un area muy central donde hay varios restaurantes disponibles. El desayuno fue fantástico y la atención ni se diga, muy personalizada y atenta. El hotel ofrece aire acondicionado y Wifi los cuales eran esenciales para nosotros. Definitivamente el hotel ofrece mucho por el valor, queda totalmente recomendado.
