Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

The apartment is decorated with love and very, very clean. It was equipped with everything you need. Loved the bed. There is even a Netflix account and board games for guests. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins and more. If you want, you can pet a cow or see some sheep and chicken. And the view on the surrounding hills is breathtaking. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is absolutely one of the best lodgings we stayed at in New Zealand! The host, Julie, is absolutely warm, helpful and friendly. She stated that the lodge is 'her baby' and it shows. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had and the room was furnished with such care and class.

Toan was a wonderful host. This was the perfect place to stop to break our long trip. Accommodation was quiet with plenty of space to relax and an extremely comfortable bed. The location was just beside the lovely river sidewalks. Host Rory was very kind and helpful. I missed his instructions for checking in and phoned him up. After his explanation I got into my room without problem. Yet he still showed up within a few minutes to see we were ok. Really appreciated it.
