The rooms were nice and clean. We did eat at the restaurant located on the property. Good food. They provided a appetizer with our wine which was the best green olives I have ever had. They tasted completely different than the States. They have a beautiful setting amongst the vineyards and olive trees. Pool to relax and the view was amazing.

Borgo San Luigi is the perfect location to enjoy a unique holiday, where you can participate in a cooking school or English-language school. The property as a whole is magical - it created a sense of wonder, relaxation, down-to-earth vibe and basically everything one might ask for in a leisure location. Some exceptionally great factors to highlight are wonderful staff aleays eager to help and serve but also interact in a personal way if that’s something you like; the pool with it’s facilities; the cucina in either one of the great restaurants, home to a great Chef and staff that are truly on-par with the highest standard of Toscanian fine dining but reasonably priced; the bar and drinks; the Tennis and Fooball Facilities; and of course the rooms which truly hit the balance between ”country romantic” and modern. I think we stayed at one of the cheapest rooms but it too was exceptionally great for a frequent traveller. Must mention that with a rental car, the location is great for day-trips to anywhere in Toscana (Firenze, Siena, Montepulciano, whatever you want to see). 10/10, would recommend for families, couples, elderly, a dog family or basically anyone who wants a pinch of true toscanian warmth and luxury in their life.

Air conditioning works flawlessly and there were plenty of refreshments waiting for us, including a delicious bottle of wine and a fresh pie. The beds were super comfortable, too! Spacious bathroom, free parking and a quick 15 minute drive to Siena. Claudio our host was amazing! 100% recommend!

The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Viola and her family were super hosts. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked fresh pastries and coffee each day for breakfast. Great value. We had lunch one day cooked by Viola and her mum and the food was amazing. We also took the opportunity to take a cooking class which was so relaxing and fun. We were attending a wedding at Castello di Celsa and Villa Mucellena's location was very convenient for this.
