The host is most welcoming, kind and helpful. We had an early bus to catch, he made sure breakfast was ready earlier than usual just to accommodate us. And the bathroom, oh, we just loved it: cosy and elegant at the same time.

She is also a friendly and chatty person Top class experience.

The location was great, far enough away from the pubs and crowds to keep it quiet but close enough to walk to everything. Denis, Mark and the whole team were exceptional hosts. They went over the top with accommodating anything we asked for. Having laundry on the premises was a plus. The breakfasts were amazing, the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip to Ireland, Scotland and london.

In a quiet, residential location, the B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Galway Cathedral. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious each day with a variety to choose from and cooked to order. Yum! The room was perfect, and beds were comfortable. We asked to leave luggage after check - out and until our train time to leave and they were happy to do that for us. They answered questions and made suggestions on things to do and where to enjoy meals in their city.

All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

At breakfast, you can choose a full Irish breakfast, or something from the comprehensive menu, with homemade breads. Breakfast was amazing! We had a great time and easily taxied to and from the city center.

Guests have spacious rooms and a stylish restaurant, 1 hours’ drive from Dublin. Everything was exceptional, from the sauna to the breakfast I could not find fault, staff were nice in a genuine way!
