The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

The stay was perfect. Starting by the food which was incredible delicious, over to an amazing staff which were super kind, carrying and attention to the customers needs. The place itself is very quite and very unique. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Iwan, the manager of the resort, picked us up from the airport. He speaks English well and very friendly. So upon our arrival till departure, all the staffs there, Iwan, Orfi and Angel, were so helpful and tried to make our stay convenient, and to this, we may say they did a super job. 👏👏👏

Umarato Villa Sumba tiene una alberca al aire libre, jardín, un salón compartido y terraza en Rua. It takes about 1.5 hour from the nearest airport. In a secluded area. But when we arrive, we are greeted with such amazing view! Nice property, secluded and tranquil. We are facilitated with full service, and our children comfort is well taken care off. They are super happy because they can harvested their own vegetable to table. They are building new properties, single unit villas with their own private pools and facilities. Perfect for future romantic escape. Not to forget to mention their exceptional restaurant, Umanga'a. We have a top notch dinning experience celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We would love to going back to Umarato in our future holiday.

Establecido en Waingapu, Hars Garden Sumba ofrece un jardín. Hay estacionamiento privado de cortesía y el hospedaje ofrece servicio de traslado al aeropuerto con costo adicional. Everything! It was clean, and the bathroom was spacious! So cool how Hars is building everything himself on his property. The view of the mountains is just… wow! I stayed for two nights, but I easily could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was also delicious, with fresh fruit from the garden! The fact that there’s no air conditioning might take some getting used to, but I slept really well — the breeze flows nicely through the room thanks to the way it’s built. I’m very curious to see how things will look in a few years with all the plans Hars still has. It’s hard to imagine this place becoming anything but a hidden gem!

Maringi Sumba by the Sumba Hospitality Foundation cuenta con bicis gratuitas, alberca al aire libre, un jardín y terraza en Waikelo. The staff here is beyond delightful, they made the stay! Helpful, friendly. The aromatherapy massage was excellent as well!

Sima Sumba Hotel cuenta con una alberca al aire libre, gimnasio, un jardín y restaurante en Tambolaka. Este hotel de 4 estrellas ofrece un bar. Beautiful, clean and friendly staff. This is my second time here and I absolutely will be back
