Comfy beds, sweet, friendly hosts/workers who were very accommodating, the huts are very cool looking (hammocks). It’s amazing they’re really in the jungle but still nearby where you wanna be. A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

At the end of the village, so more quiet, front of the gorgeous river. My bungalow was huge and very charming. But most of all Tia welcome you in the best way. She's very kind and gives very good advices, so you can trust her to organise a treck in the forest. I did it and it was a magic moment ( and physical ! ). I love Bukit Lawang, it's a very beautiful place and you can trust me : go to Rambai Tree Jungle lodge you will love it !

We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

Ubicado en Bukit Lawang, Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us cuenta con un jardín, terraza, restaurante y WiFi gratis. Jhony es una persona excelente, amable y servicial. Hicimos el trekking de 3 días y 2 noches con él y el trato por su parte, su guía y staff fue genial. Son muy respetuosos con la jungla, los animales y el medio ambiente. Te explica todo con detalle. Pudimos observar muchos orangutanes y diferentes tipos de monos y su guía nos cuidó en todo momento sintiéndonos muy seguros. Muy recomendable hacer, al menos, una noche en la selva y, si tienes tiempo, dos. La comida que nos daban era exquisita. Además, a mitad mañana te servían diferentes frutas con mucho detalle. La bajada por el río también fue muy divertida. En resumen, es una experiencia inolvidable y muy auténtica. Con él te puedes comunicar perfectamente en inglés, lástima que el guía no lo hablaba.

De cara frente a la playa en Bukit Lawang, JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us tiene un bar. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a comfy and very convenient guesthouse. The staff is really kind and helpfull. They also organize great trekking tours to the jungle. And the location of the guest house is great. Right next to the river. From the terasse you can look down on the river and enjoy the village life.

The host was super friendly and helped arrange an amazing trekking tour with a great guide. Also very helpful with transport — picked me up and brought me to the bus station. I can recommend!

Batu Kapal Guest House & Jungle trekking tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Bukit Lawang. La estancia en Batu Kapal ha sido de 10. El personal es muy simpatico, muy amable y se han mostrado siempre atentoa para ayudarnos en todo. El hotel esta situado cerva de la selva, no hay ruidos para dormir y se oyen y ven monos (y orangutanes también ql parecer, pero nosotroa no loa vimos). La habitacion estaba muy bien, con vistas a la selva y con un baño, todo perfecto. En el hotel hay un reataurante increible, con platos tipicos de Indonesia, miy muy ricos y baratos. Tambien hay un rio a 2 minutos andando sel hotel, que es donde vimos a los monos. Hicimos el trekking de los orangutanes de 2 dias y una noche con ellos y no pudo ser mejor, vimos a todo tipo de monos y orangunaes. Gracias Zuzu y Habibi y a todo el personal por todo!

Ecotourism Bukit Lawang Bungalow está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y cuenta con un jardín y una terraza. I loved my stay here! The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to come back again 🙂 Terima kasih 🙏
