The noisy road can not be heard, but the way from the main road is not long and not steep. Just around the corner there is a great cafe Dentrakia, a small supermarket is also close by, and the center of Vathy with all the nice restaurants, bakeries, cafés and shops are in a 10-minute walk. A gorgeous beach called Dexa is just 12-minute by foot. Hristo, the owner is super friendly, helpful, guest-oriented and very kind, fast in replying, though speaks little English, but the translation apps can help. There was daily cleaning and a change of bed-linen after two days. The kitchen is properly equipped, you can cook, bake, there is a kettle and a toaster, too. In the fridge 2 big bottles of water, and couple of small butter and jams were waiting for us plus a pack of rusk, coffee capsules, tea-bags and sugar. The bathroom is not big, but also very clean, toiletries were provided, the water pressure was perfect and hot water was always available. The air-condition functioned very well, too. We highly recommend to book Iris Apartment which is in a traditional Ionian Ithacan house for your stay in Ithaca.

Its pool area offers deck chairs, a table, Indonesian sun beds and a comfortable seating space. The breakfast was wonderful and the women assisting with the serving and overall breakfast were very kind and sweet. The quality of the breakfast was great and satisfied is an understatement!! Loved it!
