The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

This was the 4th hotel I tried in Egypt in just 10 days, and honestly, it was the only one that matched exactly what was promised on Booking. The manager, Sheriff, really seems to love what he does...and you can feel it in every little detail around the place. The hotel itself is so well thought out. My room was beautiful, with an amazing view of the Nile and the Nubian village. During the day, you can watch the boats drifting by, and at night, the lights of the village give off such a peaceful, magical vibe. It’s located on a small island, which makes it super calm and relaxing. There’s even a little farm! It’s eco-friendly, pet-friendly, and Zaazouaa (the sweetest welcome committee ever) greets every guest as they arrive.

I had such a peaceful and relaxing time here. It was much quieter compared to the city across the river. - The room looked exactly like the photos. It was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioner worked very well. The Wi-Fi was also speedy. - Breakfast was delicious. The staff were very flexible and helped arrange transportation by boat or car, even for early morning or late-night check-ins and check-outs. - They also suggested various tours, including trips to Abu Simbel and felucca rides. Even though I didn’t have a fixed travel plan, they gave me helpful advice on places to visit and local food to try. - The staff were kind and very knowledgeable about the island. They answered all my questions and helped me with anything I needed. Messaging was smooth, and I always received quick replies. I’m truly glad that I chose this guesthouse and this island. I was able to feel the warmth of the local people and enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature. Even though it was my first time visiting, it somehow felt nostalgic, as if I had been there before. Mahmoud, one of the staff members, knows everything about the island. He is warm, thoughtful, welcoming, and very kind. Thanks to his amazing hospitality, this trip became truly unforgettable. I’m so grateful. After spending two days here, I headed to Giza. But the experience at this guesthouse was so wonderful that I ended up canceling my plans in Giza and came back here again. That’s how much I loved it. I really hope to visit again someday.

New Abu Simbel Tourist Hotel está ubicado en Abu Simbel, a 2,3 km de Templos de Abu Simbel, y ofrece alojamiento con un restaurante y estacionamiento privado gratis. La atención del personal fue excelente, nos fueron a buscar al aeropuerto, y coordinaron todos las visitas a monumentos en Abu Simbel y traslado en taxi a Aswan. (Linea aerea Egyptair nos cancelo el vuelo) Se preocuparon de comprar los ticket para visitar los monumentos, Coordinar un guía en español, para nosotros. ademas de poder ir al show de luces en la noche y ver el amanecer desde una embarcación. ( Ali excelente persona) Importante para nosotros y es lo mejor con relación de precio calidad y servicio en Abu Simbel, comida abundante y típica egipcia. El hotel tiene pocas Habitaciones es familiar. Puede ser que para algunas personas las habitaciones son pequeñas. nosotros fuimos tres y nos acomodamos perfectamente.

Es destacable lo extremadamente limpia que es la propiedad. La amabilidad de sus recepcionistas y la excelente predisposición que tuvieron en todo momento. Me sentí mal y se ofrecieron a ir a la farmacia por medicamentos y crema que necesitaba. Tuve que quedarme más tiempo tras el check out porque no me sentía todavía bien y no tuvieron problema en volver a darnos la misma habitación más allá que ya la habían limpiado. Nos esperaron en la bajada del ferry y luego nos ayudaron con las maletas hasta allí. Tienen una terraza con una vista magnífica al Nilo. Lo dicho: siempre serviciales y atentos. Definitivamente volveremos.

Omar es un excelente anfitrión estuvo muy al pendiente de nuestra llegada y nos recogió en su lancha,el lugar es limpio y muy tranquilo.su desayuno estupendo,nos ayudo con todo nuestro itinerario a las 2 de la mañana con su bote nos cruzo para ir a nuestro taxi para ir a Abu Simbel y cuando partimos igual nos dejo en la parada de Taxi. Gracias Omar eres un apasionado das todo de ti para que las personas disfruten su viaje.
