Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Smile Jungle Hostel for 3 nights and it was great! A very warm and personal welcome, everything was explained very well. The host Gonzalo and his mother are doing a great job, you would not think they only have started 1 month ago! The hostel is very cosy. Good showers and kitchen. If we needed anything, we could just ask or send a WhatsApp. The breakfast is the best we had so far in de past month. You can see and hear a lot of animals around the hostel. Thank you so much for the great stay! Would recommand it to everyone!

The accommodation is in a very quiet and pleasant area, but still close to everything. It’s easy to reach, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Siquirres Mountain Lodge está ubicado en Siquirres y ofrece alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, una pileta al aire libre, un jardín, una terraza y un bar. We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄
