We woke up to a live NatGeo Wild kind of a game drive in the Chobe National Park with Charles. A knowledgeable, patient, friendly and passionate 5-Star guide. Beside the staff what’s more you may wonder. Chobe house is located right on the banks of Chobe River and still close to all supermarkets and restaurants. At Chobe house you will have comfortable bed, good WiFi, aircon and breath taking view of the Chobe River from the Boat House. Our whole stay’s highlight is the staff. Not only do they offer exceptional service; they are readily available whenever you need them for anything, literally. Our send off was as warm as the welcoming. After an informative chat on photography with IK and Phenyo we left Chobe House sure that we will definitely be back again. What a magical time we had!

Super host Irene was without doubt the most helpful person on my whole trip. Not only for arranging game drives and river cruises, but also for anything else you might need. Can't say enough good things about her willingness to provide assistance whenever needed. The cottages themselves are quite nice and good quality for the price, and the location is quiet due to its distance from the main roads. Wouldn't change a thing about the stay.

Amazing personal service by Sofia and the team. Nothing was too much trouble… from arranging super river cruise and game drives to transfers, taxis, restaurant bookings etc. Delicious treats and safari tea too! Catered to our vegetarian needs well.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. It was truly one of the nicest hotel experiences I have ever had and it is mostly thanks to the incredible host Chimney. He is a remarkable person and host. He helped us so much when we had a car break down and drove us across Savuti to Khwai (which is an incredible distance). I highly recommend staying here and booking meals and activities with Chimney. His game drives were fantastic and he has a great chef who makes wonderful food. The lodge itself is very simple and comfortable with a very reasonable price but the extras are what makes the place extraordinary. Chimney is also a community leader and many things that he is doing is to help his entire village. It is clear the lodge is a labor of love for him and he built it on the site of his grandmother's house.

A true "hidden" gem. The owners, Martin and Meegan, as well as super-efficient "TT", is very helpful and knowledgeable to share any advice.

We had a wonderful time for our 2 nights in Tent no 1 at Muchenje. From the moment I start to communicate with Hayden... He was so very helpful! Our check in and the staff were very friendly.. The little convenient store was very well stocked !!! More than I expected with good meat and Chicken and fresh Veggies!! And a lot more! The Birdwalk with Stone is not to be missed... He is a wonderful guide.. we saw 50 spesies an 6 lifers!!! Amazing .... The foodplanes were flooded , so we had amazing views and beautiful Sunsets. Thank You Muchenje Campsite.... A well facilitated, cosy property with everything you need for a short or long term stay. Outlook and wildlife viewing over the Chobe floodplain amazing. Friendly helpful hosts. Very good value.
