Our king room was spacious and clean. As everyone mentions, the staff members were very friendly and efficient. The location is close to the highway but only a mile or two from the cute historic part of Abingdon, with its old houses and restaurants (we loved 128 Pecan). Breakfast looked like a better spread than is usual at highway motels.

Very convenient to RT 81. Several restaurants and fast food places within a mile. No frills but if you need a nice inexpensive place to stay in that area, it’s excellent.

Location as expected. Coffee poor, breakfast looked extremely on the cheap, did not participate. The prevailing trend with all hotels on this level is provide as little as possible and charge as much as you can hope to get.

The location was good - between Emory & Henry College and Bristol. Staff was very friendly.

This modest and modestly-priced motel had a superb setting on a high hillside overlooking some beautiful mountains. The rooms were quite large, and equipped with everything a reasonable traveler needs. No spa folderol, but bed, chair, desk, TV, lock, and exceptionally strong wifi. I'm not a spy, nor any kind of secret business dealer, so I didn't need a gated community. The host was friendly, and the place was quiet, too. I may never be in this area again, but if I am, this will be my preferred location.
