The property’s design is great, the photos here don’t do it justice. For sure it would have been easier by car, but we found it quite easily even traveling by bus. My only regret is that we stayed only one night. Eryanping trail is walking distance. You need to organise for dinner if you’re on foot because there isn’t much in the area, but the host is super friendly and welcoming and helpful. Also: by far the best breakfast we had during our 20 day trip in Taiwan. I’m gluten intolerant and this was an issue for many hosts, but she made us a super tasty congee that was just perfect. I will definitely recommend this spot to others traveling in Taiwan!

The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.

The hosts are super nice and welcoming. They're happy to recommend hiking trails and food spots. The homestay is quite close to the 2nd Eryanping lookout, which has fantastic views. The room was extremely clean and well kept. Everything one might need is provided. The breakfast was very delicious as well. Highly recommended!

The owners are really hospitable and kind! We got a ride to the city and a tour of their plantations, where we learned a lot about tea plants and tea production. In the end we got to taste their teas! :) The bed is comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean.

The place is clean and spacious. The owners are very help. She helped to fetch our luggages. Give good suggestions of where to go. Teach us how to use bus apps. Which is the best way to get to the HSR station. Her husband went an extra mile to wait and pick us from the Eryanping trail when it got dark and we were not back. They have excellent breakfast. Definitely will stay again .

The location is kind of secluded, however, that is to expect in the middle of the mountain. Thankfully, owners provide free transport to and from the property from the bus stops. The owners were also very nice and considerate. They even helped arrange transportation up Alishan to watch the sunrise. Overall all was great, however do note that certain things are dependent on the owners' flexibility and time. Do enquire beforehand.

The location was amazing and the married couple who ran the minsu was exceptionally kind. We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Very clean. Ambiance was good. Nice view from the property and the rooms. Friendly property owners. This young couple owners have put in a lot of effort to do up and decorate the property. Homemade breakfast was amazing

I loved everything about this B&B. Amenities are new, and everything is very clean. There is a bus stop directly outside (which can bring you to Alishan) and a restaurant just below. Staff is really friendly and thoughtful. The washroom has bidet.

Hinoki is a very clean, comfy and cozy B&B. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was huge! Although the location was a little less convenient for people with public transport, but the owner was extremely kind, friendly and helpful! There was a nice restaurant next door.

The location is very scenic situated on a hill side surrounded by tea and coffee plants. The room was clean, large and very comfortable with modern amenities. The home cooked food was sensational and delicious. The host are very welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay as best as possible.

Specious room, huge bathroom, tub, and high-quality amenities (l'occitane). Location is not a big deal (5 mins walk to convenient stores and restaurants). Staff is very helpful and friendly.
