Location is great and if you are arriving by boat (as we were coming from meetings in Almirante) it has its own jetty so no need to drag bags from the ferry stop. Relaxed atmosphere and nice views from the restaurant/bar area,.~ A short taxi ride to Bocas airport. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

What an amazing place! The hosts are superfriendly! We had the biggest room, located near the sea/sun deck which was lovely! We could almost jump from our room to the ocean! The free kayaks are a plus! Breakfast is good and the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing! We had a very good time, meeting nice people and enjoying drinks during sunset! The best stay we had during our 18 days in Panama! Town is only a short bike ride away (or walking 15min more or less).

Fabulous location. We had a private rooftop patio above our over water room and overlooking the pool. Very close to all restaurants in town. Staff were very accommodating and helped us with water taxis and taxis to the popular beaches. Delicious breakfast with multiple choices.

Everything about Bamboo Lodge was superb. Our room was spacious, new and furnished to a high standard, with a hot shower, air con and a big comfy bed. The pool is excellent and the poolside area is a lovely place to relax with a drink. Stefan and Julie were incredibly accomodating hosts, super friendly and with good recommendations for the area. The location is a bit outside town (it's easy enough to walk and taxis aren't expensive) and this makes it very peaceful. But there are good places to eat and drink nearby - the Sicilian restaurant a few doors down is great and the Pipa beach bar round the corner is also very nice.

Marjorie's apartments are perfect for a stay in Bocas del Torro. The accommodation is about 4 km outside of Bocas Town, which is why I rented a bike (super easy) to be able to move around more flexibly. but there are also cafes and beaches nearby that you can walk to or take a cab (I just preferred the bike). Every morning started with a homemade coffee in the hammock on the terrace - could be worse ;). I can recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a quiet place that is out of town on the main island.
