How can we describe these days at Chital Lodge? We immediately felt at home. A place nestled in the jungle, just steps away from Chitwan National Park. We slept in a hut, surrounded by many (perhaps too many) insects, and washed with lukewarm water, but the energy of this place is indescribable. Bhisnu, the owner, is an exceptional guide, an extraordinary chef, and a wonderful person. Manoj, his right-hand man, won us over right away with his kindness and his beautiful smile. I along with my family recently had the pleasure of staying at Regenta Resort & Spa by Riverside in Chitwan, Nepal, and it was exceptional experience from start to finish.The resort’s location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding jungle and the river creating a peaceful ambiance. The manager was too good. Good insight into the National park. The jungle activities are too good. You will enjoy the local taste. Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy. The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them. My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff. We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel. I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.
