New, clean, and beautifully appointed rooms. Onsen and lounge on the top level with unlimited popsicles were superb. The tatami mats throughout and only socked feet allowed in the entire hotel added to the experience. Car park next door was convenient. Right next to busy streets full of restaurants.

Such a charming ryokan with its own hot spring baths, perfectly well maintained, felt at home right away. Very clean and staff very attentive and respectful. Highlight of my trip, and close to many onsens even walking distance (which I did), 5min walk from the bus station. HIGHLY recommend

The host is very kind. He patiently explained how to use the facilities in the house. He is thoughtful. On extremely hot days, he prepared iced tea and Popsicle for us. Besides, he even gave us some fresh vegetables he grew. The house is fancy with complete facilities, and there’s space to park 2 cars outside.

We had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home—our whole family really enjoyed it. We especially loved being able to enjoy the hot spring right where we were staying; it was such a special experience. The staff were also kind enough to help us book a local dinner that is usually hard to reserve — we truly appreciated it. We hope you continue to maintain this great service. Modern, family-friendly and clean house which had loads of space. We loved nearly everything about this place including the large number of rooms, full-sized kitchen and dining table, 2 toilets, space for storing our suitcases and clothing, and the combined 2-in-1 washing machine and dryer. It is in a great location that is close to the JR train station and lots of restaurants. The host staff were very responsive and helpful.

    The location was walking distance from a lot of interesting onsen. The host was incredibly kind, be sure to ask him for restaurants and onsen recommendations! The facility itself was homely and very pleasant, quiet too. All of this for a price which is honestly quite cheap. If I visit Beppu again, this is the place I'll return to.
