The landlady was very pleasant and she was willing to pick me up from where the bus dropped me in another town, and also to take me to Palermo airport - but at a cost! The room had a tv and an aircon unit fitted, but I didn't use either. The bed, a double, was comfortable. The shower worked well once I had worked out which way was hot! The location was close to shops and restaurants, but the property remained nice and quiet. We got pizza for dinner which was our best pizza all week in Sicily. The room was very large and we were happy with the coffee and croissant breakfast! We opted for airport shuttle which was so easy to organise, cheaper than a standard taxi and they offer great conversation. Our only disappointment was we only had one night to stay here!
