The room was spacious, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. :) the view of the lake was amazing, the location was queit and about 10-15 minutes drive to reach Akureyri. Kitchen with basic things.

I arrived by bus which meant a 30 minute walk on an icy road to get tot he hotel; however, when I mentioned my arrival time, someone immediately volunteered to pick me up at the bus stop and drive me to the hotel. I already had the keycodes and it was all very easy to get to my room and get situated. Staff is on-site during the day time. Breakfast (unstaffed but pretty obvious) was available early.

Lovely place with caring hosts. All rooms have a special theme and are individually furnished with a personal touch. The location is great, the bathrooms and the kitchen are in excellent condition. Everything was well organised (eg, the space in the fridge) and super clean. Among the VERY best accommodations we had in Iceland; i highly recommend booking if available.

Everything was wonderful, the cabin looks like in fairy tales in the middle of wood. We could use the hot tube anytime when we wanted. Furthermore there is the owner’s cat who is extrem cute. The whole cabin is clean and the bed is fantastic, it was hard to wake up from this because of its comfy. Recommend to everyone.

Bjarni was treating us very well. Everything that wasn’t available, he brought over in no time and also helped us with everything. Really nice and easygoing hosts. Awesome hottub and Sauna. Can also highly recommend to visit their restaurant just a couple meters away. Also ask him about Jürgen Klopp ;) you will feel welcome here!
