The four of us absolutely loved our stay and all wished we could have stayed for longer. We definitely hope to return. This is a beautiful property finished to an exceptionally high standard with stunning views. Marie, the boss :-). Helped us with everything and made us feel at home. Kindness embodied. Extra spacious rooms. Bathroom very large. Common room with fridge/bar. Great breakfast. After an Irish breakfast Marie gave us her house-made scones for underway !

We had a nice stay in Ballinasloe and were able to rest in the country side. The en suite room provides everything you need for good sleep and shower. Recommended to tired roadtrippers that prefer peaceful overnight stay.

Was spacious, modern & had all the facilities you needed plus the lovely added bonus of a couple of refreshing cans of drink in the fridge & biscuits. Great communication from the host David.

Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.

The house was so lovely and comfortable. The linen and duvets on the beds luxurious.The towels are large and really soft and fluffy. The location was close to the centre (15 mins walk to Sean's Bar), but it was so lovely and quiet.Great to park the car safely off the street. All you could need for a relaxing stay.

Very cool and different experience spending a day at the water and city escape at the same time. You should do it
